Habitat:
Blue Oyster mushrooms grow in temperate climates, often on dead or dying hardwoods, including oak, maple, and beech. They are commonly found in North America and Europe.

Identification & Ecology:
Blue Oyster mushrooms are named for their distinctive blue-grey color and fan-shaped caps. The caps can grow up to 10 cm in diameter and are attached to the stem at one side.
