Shooting Stars is a variety of Psilocybe cubensis. The variety is said to have come from notorious Keeper Brand Cubes. Shooting Stars has been said to have light coloring. Their stems are skinny and yet firm. Shooting Stars is said to produce tall fruit—it’s no wonder how this variety got it’s fantastic name. These mushrooms have gills which vary from whitish to purple-brown. Shooting Stars units are dark purplish brown to violet brown.
