Terms and Conditions

Overview
This website is operated by MRM Gourmet Industries. Throughout the site, the terms “we”, “us” and “our” refer to MRM, MRM is an abbreviation of
Mr. Mushrooms. MRM offers this website, including all information, tools and services available from this site to you, the user, conditioned upon your acceptance of all terms, conditions, policies and notices stated here.

 


Shipping Schedule:  Our shipping days are typically Tuesdays and Fridays. Orders received the day before shipping days will be pushed to the next shipping day, please see shipping schedule if you have any questions on when your order ships.


 

Shipping Policy:
Orders, once received take 24-72 hours to process unless otherwise notified. Product go on back order from time to time and may delay your order for a few extra days. All orders are shipped USPS flat rate priority mail (1-3 days US) with tracking. Print orders are sent via stamped envelope. Shipping days are typically Tuesdays and Fridays. Orders with subtotals of over $200 will be shipped with signature required.

Ordering Restrictions:
MRM requires all customers to be over 18 years old to make any purchases. If for any reason an order is suspected of being ordered by a minor, proof of age and or proof of adult permission may be required. If this causes any issues we do apologize, we ask if you’re under the age of 18 that you get your parents written consent to make any purchases.

Active species are for and intended for microscopy use only. We do not condone the cultivation of active species. We do not offer any advice for cultivating active species as it is illegal in majority of the United States and many countries. If for any reason we feel that the purchaser would be using the product for anything other than microscopy or the purchaser is acting in an unprofessional manner the order will be refused and refunded. Active species will not be shipped to California, Georgia, or Idaho. If you leave a review or email about active cultivation we will no longer be able to assist you and will be blocked from further purchases.

 


Refunds and Returns:

With all issues, we want to make sure our customers are well taken care of and are happy doing business with us. For any issues please send us an email here at Hello@MrMushrooms.works.

Due to the nature of our products, we are unable to accept returns once the package has been shipped out. In the event that a package goes missing, is damaged by a carrier, or other issues, please see the applicable sections below.

Damaged items: Please take a picture of your package upon arrival if any damage has occurred. If this happens I will offer you half credit on the cost of the damaged item (not including shipping) to be used for a future purchase. Damaged items including petri dish cracks, broken syringes, etc.

We strive to package your items with the upmost attention to detail so it is safe and secure. Any damage incurred will be treated as fault by the local carrier, half credit on the cost of the item will be offered as a result of damage. If damages do occur please request that you need extra padding on future orders.

Shipping Issues: Shipping can sometimes be tricky when dealing with a bunch of orders. For this reason we have policies to help protect everyone involved.

  • Our Bad: We want to make sure you get the items you purchase. If we happen to make a mistake, you will be issued a refund or send a replacement.
  • Their Bad: These mistakes can be made by either the shipper or the customer. These mistake can range from customer sending the wrong shipping address, USPS delivering to the wrong house/fail to deliver/holding package. These mistake will not be refunded but we can offer a 50% off discount on the same order. Please be sure to double check your address before submitting your order. Shipping costs are non-refundable.

Do not send anything to the return address. Any issues that may arise will be dealt with in the ways outlined above. Any items sent will not be considered. Keep an eye on the tracking so that you can call USPS if a reroute is needed.

Contaminations: We strive to be as sterile as possible but these things do happen. Customers have 30 days after delivery to claim contamination any claims after 30 days will not be fulfilled. In order to receive a refund or replacement you will need to do the following required steps depending on item. Images can be sent using Imgur.

  • Active syringes: As it is illegal to cultivate active species, replacements can only be sent once you provide a photo of a microscope slide magnified enough to see the contaminate. If you receive a syringe with broken or nonviable specimens you will need to provide a photo of a microscope slide where the issue can be seen.
  • Edibles / Medicinal Petri Cultures: Send a focused photo of the contaminated culture.
